The goals of the manufacturing web design for Sorbothane were to introduce a fresh and modern look, encourage interaction, and improve the overall organization of content. The previous site, which we also designed, was rich in content and high ranking in SEO value. When migrating information, we took care to maintain what was already in existence, while building upon the content and making the site easier to navigate.

To further improve SEO rankings and add additional useful material, we gave each real-world product solution its own page. We also added an extensive product catalog. Now, every item has its own page with imagery, descriptions, and live tables.

With an understanding of manufacturing marketing, our team implemented numerous intentional calls to action to encourage interaction throughout the website experience. For example, users can download informational PDFs, access design calculators, and more.

To help nurture prospects, our team developed a strategic dynamic contact form to guide engineers, entrepreneurs, or students through targeted options to request Sorbothane® product samples, to request a quote for a custom solution, and more. Then, we carefully documented and tracked each user’s response in Google Analytics for optimal reporting. With this meticulous data tracking of key points in the user’s sales journey, Sorbothane, Inc. will be able to utilize website reporting for more informed business decisions and product development.

From a design perspective, we utilized video backgrounds to bring an abstract concept like vibration isolation to life. To echo the idea of vibration, we used gentle swooping transitions throughout the website. The overall color scheme grew from a singular blue to a gradient of blues, modernizing the overall look and feel. Almost every page received a custom template, giving the site a robust and cohesive design.
