The mission of the Akron Urban League (AUL) is to improve the quality of life for the citizens of Summit County, particularly African Americans, by advocating and facilitating programs that are economically and educationally transformational, impacting their lives and the lives of future generations.

The Akron Urban League has a noble mission, to improve people’s quality of life. Their range of services is broad and deep, and we helped them design a new website that could showcase all they do while still being easy to navigate. Six categories sit within the homepage hero area, guiding users to the Akron Urban League’s most visited areas of their website. The custom-built slider features individual icons, images, and headlines for each section.
Overlapping elements, along with bold black and red colors, give the Akron Urban League website a bright and modern redesign. Elements and shapes were pulled from their logo and used in the site design to create a fresh and cohesive look.
