Dr. Bob’s Home is the former residence of Dr. Robert Smith, the founder of Alcoholics Anonymous. His house now operates as a living museum, spreading his message of love and service while providing the opportunity for social community.
Bob’s Home is a world-renowned destination with visitors from every continent. The museum and former home of the founder of Alcoholics Anonymous needed a new website to reflect its historical impact, while still presenting AA as a modern institution. With bold shapes, high contrast elements, and a warm accent color, the new site welcomes visitors with open arms. Photos turn from sepia to full color on hover, taking users from the past to present with the swipe of a cursor.
The campus has three buildings and endless guests, which means the upkeep is constant. Donations are the primary source of income and Dr. Bob’s Home accepts both physical and monetary donations. Knowing this, we featured a donation link in the navigation, keeping it top of mind for site visitors.
The new website is simple to navigate and update, making things easier for visitors and administrators alike. Integrated social media accounts allow for seamless post updates. A virtual tour makes the museum accessible to all, even people who cannot make the physical journey.
